Logitech G Cloud is a gaming console. It was first launched in America in October 2022 and now it is also available in the UK and Europe. Its price in Australia is not clear. However, its price is considered equal to Nintendo Switch OLED or even more than that and it is available equal to the 64GB Steam Deck model.
The Logitech G Cloud is the first notable cloud-centric gaming handheld. Logitech has taken an interesting step with its G Gaming Console Cloud, which combines game streaming on mobile devices and Steam with a lot of capability and power. However, I think it still has some shortcomings, such as a limited number of studios and a high price. Unfortunately, it costs $299.99.

Is Logitech G Cloud worth it or not? I think Logitech G Cloud has some great features with its great screen, battery life. You can even play GTA 5 in high resolution. Basically, the Logitech is a 7-inch Android tablet built in a custom hardware shell. It has everything found in the latest gaming controller including dual analog sticks, a Deep-paid, four phase buttons, bumpers and triggers, as well as option buttons, a home button and what Logitek calls G buttons.
If we talk internally, then g cloud has a three year old midrange 8-core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G) which is designed for more protection than power. However, most of the work for cloud gaming is done on the server-side, so this is not a big problem and If you are planning to play games by downloading them locally from the google play store, then don’t expect better performance. It has only 4GB RAM and 64GB flash storage, which can be expanded further via micro card.

The Logitech G Cloud is a small machine weighing just 463 grams and 1.3 inches thick and the best thing about it is that it is much thinner and lighter than other gaming handhelds like Valve, Nintendo, and Ayanaio. Unfortunately, the main reason for Logitech the latest device being light and thin compared to its competitors is the internal strength. This is because Logitech G is basically an Android tablet which runs on a single Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor instead of a more hard-core intensive one like the Nvidia Tiger X1 or AMD Ryzen 5.
The Hardware manufacturer claims that you can get 12 hours of playback from the same 6000 mAh battery of the same G Cloud. After testing it can be confirmed that this Nvidia gaming can be fully utilised for cloud streaming through these Blit applications using Xbox Cloud gaming and Steam link. However, when you are playing games basically on Android your email can be seriously different, in such cases which will make Hardwire a little more flexible.
If you are looking at this as a machine that can do both the jobs, then you will get to see more than 8-10 hours of uninterrupted work after all the saying and doing, but it is still quite good for a handheld. Interestingly there are two modes in the software for handheld and triple ball use in the cloud; For the most part of my tests, I kept the machines on the Login Hub menu to make navigation simpler as it was the quickest way to get between the various gem streaming apps, Google Play Store and the mobile titles that I had installed and ready to use.

The strength of logitech g cloud gaming depends on factors other than the console like internet speed and connection and also on the quality of the cloud gaming service you are using. One drawback of logitech g cloud is that it does not have Wi-Fi 6 facility and after testing it with 250MB internet connection by sitting near the router and in another room with extended router, it is found that the results are almost negative.
The Xbox One game library supports a large resolution that can be used to stream the full power of your RTX 3080 rig to your screen in full HD without any input lag or distortion. We can hardly tell the difference. The Xbox One game library’s video compression on mobile is quite a matter of sadness as it gives a much blurrier resolution than a 1080p resolution, although It still works. Although playstation remote play app is not officially supported and is also bad at 720/30 fps, after choosing third party paid app I found out that it supports 1080p/60 fps streaming but the ones going to try for ps 5 can be changed in the remote play device.
logitech g cloud can run for 12 hours on a single charge and it’s only because of the cloud working that its battery life is also good. And even when you use it for a very short time or even if you use it for a short time, you will find that it still has plenty of battery life even after being in sleep mode for several days – unlike steam. The Logitech G Cloud’s Snapdragon the 720G processor might be very old in the phone world but you can still run Vampire Survivors without any hassle. The battery also drains pretty quickly when the game is played natively. Even 3D gems like Honky Star Rail can be run on medium setting, and it is even capable of running retro emulated gems from the Dreamcast era without any hassle.

Just a few months ago Android 13 was released on some devices while Logitech G Cloud is introduced with Android 11 only for its own OS but most of the users will not look for the newest Android feature by any means. But you can enable the complete Android 11 tablet experience by using the cloud in “Tablet mode”, which suggests playing it in “handheld mode” which overlays a dedicated launcher on the Nintendo Switch home screen, which recently included a series of cascading tails horizontally in order to give it a console-like experience.
First of all when you need to configure the device with the Google account to boot it up, this will give you the option to boot in tablet mode or handheld mode. The standard Xbox and Steam Link app comes preloaded with the app while Xbox Cloud Streaming (beta) and Nvidia Gaming now comes locally for streaming along with the app. Apart from four gaming options, you also get a pre-installed set of all Google apps like Contacts, Calendar, Maps, Chrome, all of which cannot be removed from the device.
As you know you can download any app from google playstore like netflix, jio hotstar, zee 5 or almost all streams of android shoval veyar game. And even apps like Amazon Lun and the like did not recognize these controllers even after being launched like cloud streaming. And they only gave the option of connecting a separate Bluetooth controller for gaming and using the touchscreen control. Also it is difficult to say whether any local or additional game streaming app other than cloud will be supported or not, but today you came across

When I played games on Logitech G Cloud I got a very good gaming experience with its great screen and it runs on very high resolution and also its battery life is long so I can play games for a very long time. And the design of this console is also very good and its build quality is also much better than other gaming consoles. It is equipped with hardware and ergonomic form factor.
As far as I’m concerned, Logitech is a good company that makes great gaming products. Its cloud gaming console is a great idea. It has 4G/5G support, but it costs $299.99. I love the Logitech G Cloud Gaming Console, but I think it’s expensive. Even if Logitech addresses my complaints in the second-gen version of this console, I’d still say Logitech shouldn’t have priced it so high.
