Oneplus gives us the note buds 2r with supports both SBC and AAC audio codec and it comes with the latest bluetooth 5.3. The pairing process is very simple. you just have a open the nord buds 2r case and then turn on the Bluetooth and connect to your nord buds device. My mobile is from the samsung company, when I connected it to the device. It connected to nord buds 2r easily. As for connectivity and range, This is not a big issue here. However, it lacks Google Fast Pair support, Which should have been given.
The buds have a touch sensitive zone which performs following functions-

It has the oneplus fast however there is no dual pairing support, so if you have oneplus realme or oppo phone then just opening. the lid the buds will connect quickly almost like the google fast on oppo and realme mobiles oneplus note buds 2r doesn’t support fast it might have been a button features .it might have have come with a later update it’s hard to say for sure.
The controls of the oneplus earbuds can be customize from the heymolody app on android and ios. The company gives the option to choose from differnt equilizer settings like balanced. loudness and bass. There is a camera control option for compatible phones and there is find earbuds for noise cancelling so that you can easily locate the buds when the phone is connected and one downside is that there is no option for volume control, which was previously present in nord buds and nord buds 2. Apart from this, the earbuds don’t support multi-piont connectivity so you need to try to get back to the pairing mode if you need to connect to any such devices.

However, I think some people may not like to listen to music on a loud bass. So they may not enjoy the default mode as much. For them, these earbuds also have a bold mode which they should try. and I have used this features and I felt good listening to music. You can also use a custom EQ mood in it. And this feature is quite good.
There is also a different bass mood, although you will not feel any lack of loudness in it and It has very good features comapred to old Earbuds. The high frequencies are still quite good, but it doesn’t feel very loud in some music tracks due to the high bass. Over this is quite normal in this price range, considering that most budget TWS earbuds face the problem of high bass. In fact, the node buds 2r performs well compared to other TWS earbuds in this price range.
The tuning of this oneplus earbuds is quite good, at this price . It provides loud and clear output with significant bass presence. And this earbuds provide an energetic and enjoyable audio output andcompared to other earbuds, this earbud is quite good and it also has a gaming mode for gaming purpose.

The battery life of oneplus buds 2r is long time. The buds given battery backup of about 7.5 hour when listening to music continuously, which is a plus point. In such a situation, the buds can be fully charged four times, which means that the buds last 32 hours more with the case. Oneplus gives up to 38 hours of playback time with the charging case and up to 8 hours of playback time with single earbuds, which is good.
The company has not given any information about the charging speed. But when charged with 30W charge. it takes about 1 hour 45 minutes for the buds to be fully charged. And we have become accustomed to fast charging and hence, Oneplus company should pay some attention to include fast charging as well.
4. Oneplus Nord Buds 2r : build quality & design
Oneplus pays good attention to design. The new node buds 2r and node buds come with the same design. The charging case is now a bit more compact, just a little bit but you can notice it. And the new buds have also changed the colour. The old buds came in grey and lightning white with a cool space finishing on top. While the new buds 2r have a different vibe- on speckles, just a plan dark gray colour and a triple blue colour. Everything else is pretty much the same as the node buds 2.
The charging case still has a top- notch matte finishing that gives it a stylish and premium look. The build quality is solid and the overall design is compact and silky – giving it a great feel in the hand. And you won’t have any problem using it and it will give you a premium look.
There are some changes here. they have removed the pairing button from the nods buds 2r. But the nods buds 2 has this button . I am very happy with this update because now if you are pairing with a mobile other than Oneplus mobile, then you don’t need to fiddle with buttons. You just have to open the lid and your device will connect. By the way, the absence of that button has a bonus point on the connectivity side, I will tel you about it in a little bit.
Moving to the earbuds, the design follows the same tune. The important change? The earbuds now have this cool curved shape, which makes them look more compact. The glossy touch area has also shrunk a bit, and they’ve extended the glossy furnishing to the part housing the air tips. All things considered the earbuds come in stylish and sport solid build quality.
And the best part is that it is really comfortable to use. Despite the touch control area being a little small,there is no problem in using it. And it is easy to tap without any problem and the touch response is alo quite good. And by the way, you can completely control the touch controls through this app.
