The Vivo X200 Pro is finally here, bringing some significant upgrades to the Vivo T4x. This is Vivo’s best camera smartphone yet, featuring the same 200-megapixel camera lens as the X100 Ultra model. The X200 Pro not only has all the good features of the Ultra, but it also costs a lot less and on paper looks like a solid package.
I found the Vivo X200 Pro to be the best camera phone I’ve seen. Every time I used the device, I was blown away by its camera qualities, especially in portraits. Apart from that, this phone is a phone with great hardware, great battery life, and an attractive design. It’s amazing how the Vivo X200 Pro can take things a step further, though. The Vivo X200 Pro not only boasts a great camera system, but also offers a new, more powerful chipset, longer battery life, and more.

Vivo X200 Pro:- Premium ‘Design’.
Vivo x200 pro is completely different from vivo vt4x which is also a very good mobile. Vivo x200 pro is a bit different in its frame, instead it has a more square corner design which fits better in the hand. Its frame itself is a bit more square but the corners are still more rounded than my expectations. It is not that I don’t like the frame of vivo x200 pro, I do like it, I am just giving some advice to make it better. The glass front is another area where it is different in comparison to x200. It is slightly less curved and does not spread on the corners. I like this method as it gives less occult input. And yet, the glass is still slightly curved, and I hope that in the next edition the display will be completely flat.
Now let’s take a look at all sides of this design, starting with the frame. The microphone and antenna bands are at the top of the frame. There are only a few antenna bands on the left side of the frame. On the right side there is the power button, volume rocker and more antenna bands. The bottom part of the frame has the usb-c port, SIM tray, speaker and microphone. The power buttom is placed nicely and is easy to reach naturally. The volume rocker is a bit high and you will have to adjust your hand to press it properly.
There is a very big camera module in the back part of the Vivo x200 pro. This is a collaboration between vivo and ZEISSOptics, more information will be given about the camera. The module is very big and there is no way to avoid it, I think they will find a way to make it smaller but the camera is so good that I will not complain too much. There is LED flash on the top right side of the phone and vivo branding is on the bottom side. The front of the Vivo x200 pro has only AMOLED display and it has a pinhole front camera and front speaker. There is a speaker on the button side and speaker in the display, make a stereosetup with it.
Its overall build quality is excellent, premium materials have been used and the feel in hand is great. Vivo x200 pro comes with a thin TPU case which should provide some security. A screen protector is also pre-installed on the device, which you can feel while using the swipe gesture. Overall, the vivo x200 pro is a smartphone with a great design, its build quality is very good and it also has some special features like its big camera module.
Vivo X200 Pro:- ‘Camera ’.
In the camera department of X200 pro, Vivo has given a big upgrade as compared to other mobiles. The telephoto camera is a big boost for the x200 pro as it gives a similar setup as the realme p3 pro. On the other side, looking at the first camera spec sheet, the primary camera looks like a downgrade, especially considering that the x100 pro came with a 1-inch sensor. The x200 pro has a 1/1.28-inch sensor, which is a bit small. And lastly, a 50-megapixel sensor with ultra wide autofocus and the 32-megapixel selfie camera is inspired by the realme p3 pro.
The camera is familiar; and yet, Vivo has tried its best to make things easy for the users. We also got an all-new landscape mode which includes several modes including night, Supermoon, long Exposure, Astro, landscape, Panorama and time-lapse. Vivo has also created a street photography mode for those who prefer it, which can be triggered by double pressing the volume down button. This is a handy mode for taking quick shots, and now, things depend on the quality of the camera. The X200 Pro’s primary camera takes good images in daylight. It has lots of details, accurate colour and dynamic range. It was mostly the same in different lighting conditions.
The telephoto camera is the biggest power of the x200 pro. The quality you get at 3.7x is fantastic in all lighting conditions. The telephoto sensor is capable and can help in portraits as well. The colors and amazing details and colours are excellent. In portrait shots, extraordinary quality is captured. Vivo has also developed a stage mode which basically takes advantage of the 3.7x lens.
Vivo X200 Pro:- ‘Display’
Vivo x200 pro comes with a 6.78” AMOLED display with 2800×1260 resolution and variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. This is a very good AMOLED display which gets very bright, very good! This display will give up to 4,500 nits of brightness with HDR connectivity, and the extra brightness is very helpful when outside in the sun. Using a smartphone with a low display outside is troublesome, and this is good.As this is an AMOLED display, so the colours are very rich and sharp, which is a reality for most of the people like.
This display not only delivers a high refreshing effect for smooth visuals, but also delivers an affectively peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, making it one of the brightest displays you can get. Having a high peak brightness on a smartphone also gives a lot of advantages when it comes to the ability to view in direct sunlight, which I can appreciate. As I mentioned, the AMOLED display is vibrant and colourful, and it can display up to 1.07 billion colours with its 10-bit panel. It could. This tuning is what many smartphone users love in reality, and this panel is going to be a tree for advanced users in reality.
Having a variable refresh rate means it will automatically adjust based on the material you are looking through, which is great for preserving battery life and display. The touch sampling rate is 300Hz, with a boosted rate of 1000Hz, and this provides an excellent and responsive display experience. The in screen fingerprint sensor is placed lower in comparison to other smartphones like Samsung (but not the V40 Pro Slightly higher in comparison). But I like it.
I like the lower placement and I found it very comfortable to use and access. The high placement is fine, but it is 100% better than placing it much higher. Overall, the Vivo X200 Pro display is one of the biggest reasons to buy this device. With its exceptional brightness, colour accuracy and simultaneous 120Hz four refresh rates. The display is one of the best displays you will find on any flagship device. It is close to the flagship display of the mainstream.
Vivo X200 Pro:- ‘Performance’
Vivo x200 pro has MediaTekDimensity 9400 paired with Immortalis-G925. The tag team formation is the same and is excellent for day to day use. And so I had no problem doing day to day tasks and watching videos. The display is great and everything is fine and runs well on it. There is no glitch in the operating system. Some people have complained that sometimes the phone gets hot due to heavy gaming, and they complain about thermals.
I am not a heavy gamer and will not say that this is a gaming phone, so it is just a lie that there is no issue. But but, the phone can get hot during heavy gaming, there is no issue in it. It is just a part of mobile gaming. Overall, the Vivo x200 Pro performed what matters, and that is really in the day to day tasks of the world and the cameras. Yes, it can play games, and yes, it does pretty well for what we’ve seen. But it’s not built for pure gaming, and if you plan on playing triple-E games on this device, you should expect some performance and battery issues.
Vivo X200 Pro:- ‘ Battery Life’.
2025 is the year when 6000mAh battery will become a highlight in low-end Android phones, and you can say that Vivo is ahead in this regard. The x200 pro has semi-solid battery technique which can ensure good battery performance even in hot weather conditions, albeit below 20 degrees. The phone supports 90w FlashCharge and 30w wireless charging. In the real world, the x200 pro does pretty well in the battery department. During my testing, the phone gave more than 9 hours of screen-on time in several test runs. In our HD video loop test, the phone lasted for 17 hours and 20 minutes.
With Indian use, the phone easily lasted more than a day on a single charge, where I used the camera to click photos and played a game for about an hour while always opening outlook, slack, whatsapp, gmail, telegram, x, youtube, instagram, chanv and maps in the background. Although, the output may vary under different usage cases. But I can guarantee that in comparison to any battery of x200 pro, it can beat other flagships like iphone 16 pro max and pixel 9 pro xl. The phone can charge from 0 to 100 percent in less than an hour, which again is impressive for a battery of this size.
Vivo X200 Pro:- ‘Software’.
The x200 pro runs FunTouchOS 15 based on Android 15. Vivo has made its software experience quite good, with smooth animations, clean virtual reality, and less complexity compared to earlier versions. However, the blogger is a departure from the polished interface that you’ll find in your routine.Vivo has promised four years of software updates and a five-year safety patch, which is slightly lower than the standards set by competitors like Samsung and Google.
AI features including AI Eraser and easy Glare Reduction are hit or miss. While the phone scores well in AIbenchmark, real-world performance isn’t always consistent. It did very well in our Digit AI-Q test.Look, Phanatach has made a great step forward, introducing a modern and understandable interface, but there’s still room for improvement in terms of lack of blockchain and delay in updating.
Vivo X200 Pro ‘ Conclusion’
The x200 Pro is another masterstroke from Vivo. It has so many features that when you compare it with other competing smartphones at this price, the x200 Pro easily beats them. Of course, the first users who will be attracted to the x200 Pro will be camera lovers and there is no point in guessing that. But, overall it is the best smartphone from Vivo. Yes, yes it is that good.
The camera will surprise you, while after spending more time with the x200 Pro you will like its design, its camera looks similar to the Realme p3 Pro, it is a very good mobile in the budget. The performance is good; in terms of software, it is Vivo’s best device till date. If the IP68 + IP69 rating is a bit challenging for you, the indicative navigation time will provide peace of mind. The battery is a different category and sets the benchmark high for any Android flagship smartphone.
