XBOX WIRELESS HEADSET REVIEW: DESIGN AND COMFORT.

Talking about its design, like the previous model which was launched in 2021, this new version is sleek and modest design without any strong branding and it is even more attractive in its all black colour, which removes the green colour trim around the earcup of the old version and then as an xbox headset, it can be recognized only on the right earcup by the logo and I do not see any reason to fix what is not broken.

Each earcup works as an easy volume dial. Each ear cup acts as an intuitive volume dial, I still love it. In which the right one controls the master volume. and the left earcup handles the in-game and chat volume balance. There is a touch of space in the middle of the chat mix dial that indicates 50-50 points for default balance. There aren’t many buttons on the headset, just a small green button to select that doubles as the power and pairing mode button.

The microphone sits on the base of the mute mic and the right earcup charges via USB-C. This updated version of Xbox’s flagship headset still has a strong base to make for an incredible value the mic also has a snake like design, it curls up in the left earcup when you do not wish to use it and opens outwards when you use it, it stays on the edge of your face without coming in the way of your mouth as it has a short edge but even then it does not sacrifice its ability to catch your voice.

Although this frame is made of study plastic but the headset can bend to a great extent and can bend and gives a very impressive feeling of stability. Actually this is a very small headset but it does not feel weak while handling it. In order to fit it properly I had to extend each arm to its maximum length, which I might not have had to do with other headset but if you too face problem fitting the headphone then be careful this is one such area which I needed a lot of improvement and whereas this was nothing big for me.
It’s no big deal, one of the issues could have been addressed here which was present in the headset. The padding is excellent and I can wear it for hours without any discomfort. The headset is a bit tight. The leatherette upholstery of each ear pad keeps it comfortable for a long time. But that comes with the territory of using the material. The handband uses the same plush padding to keep the headset comfortable on my head, and the whole unit sits firmly in its place, so I rarely have to adjust it after wearing it.
People looking for a multi-functional headset might be confused about what you are looking for. For one, in addition to the dongle-free connection with the Xbox console, Bluetooth connectivity is also available in the Xbox wireless headset. Although this headset would require 2.4 GHz sound quality and some connection delays, it would definitely increase the overall cost. It will be available, but dongles for Microsoft devices can be purchased separately.
XBOX WIRELESS HEADSET REVIEW:- AUDIO PERFORMANCE.
When I first put on the Xbox Wireless Headset I was tensed by how bass heavy the sound signature was. If you too are someone who doesn’t like anything more than a hard thumping baseline then the Xbox Wireless Headset will not disappoint. It actually provides unbelievable bass reproduction. There are times when we even felt like we had tortured our ears with a DJ subwoofer. It’s truly great at delivering that low end sound that many people desire and enjoy. It also has a bass boost option that goes up to plus 12.which honestly seems downright excessive considering how low can these headphones go? While this is all fine, when you are playing a competitive shooter or even a more cinematic single player experience, having fully bass-driven headphones is not ideal.

Too much bass can drown out other sounds and can ruin the ones that are normally important, leaving you with a muffled sound that will be of no use to you in an online multiplayer game. The good thing is that Microsoft designed the Xbox Wireless Headset to suit everyone as you can customize the sound to your liking. You can choose from a selection of equalizers such as game, movie, music, and speech. While you go into the Xbox Accessories app, none of these were perfect for this reviewer.
There is also an option to customize the 6 EQ stars as per your preference. This is where the Xbox Wireless Headset really comes into its own. We’re used to a flat sound stage overall. To dial the big bass back to the point we head to the Xbox Accessories app. While it can still give a satisfying slap, but as a result it can’t eliminate every other frequency, we also wanted to hear slightly clearer sounds.
After making a few careful changes, during our testing we were confronted with a sound signature that was stuck on every box and it made no difference no matter what we were doing, be it listening to music, watching videos on YouTube or playing our favourite game. It uses spatial audio like Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic and still delivers great sound All you have to do is connect your Xbox wireless headset and get six months of free access If you don’t have Dolby Atmos, there’s no excuse not to experiment with the wonders of spatial audio Even after pairing a pair of headphones with great noise isolation, we were just impressed by how clear the best Dolby Atmos Xbox Series X games sound It had a decently rounded soundstage to deliver a believable 360-degree audio effect .

It’s amazing to think that you can make at least $100 doing audio demos like this and Microsoft deserves a lot of credit should be given to Microsoft for including a pair of 40mm drivers in it, which is quite satisfying for the changes people are using it.EQ standards aren’t new, but it often happens that some headsets can’t be tweaked to give a really positive result, no matter how much you try to compare it to some factors.
The Xbox Wireless Headset is very flexible in this regard and pays off in a big way. Good audio will always be subjective due to the age and nature of our ears and our ability to hear certain variations, it’s very important that Microsoft hasn’t taken a “one sound suits everyone” type of sound where just a few manufacturers choose which sound sounds best and given us a reliable basis for finding out which sound we like best. It could receive updates over
the year which could lead to improvements in the xbox wireless headset in the future.
XBOX WIRELESS HEADSET REVIEW:- SOFTWARE AND BATTERY LIFE.
As it is an official xbox headset, you do not need a software suite or app to customize its main settings like simple bass or the EQ profile boosting option while using it on the xbox system. It works fine to tune the headset properly if you only have access to five band EQs. You also have free access to licenses for DTS headphones, Windows sonic:X and Dolby Atmos which are programs that emphasize the spatial audio experience and have more dramatic sound profiles. I find them not very useful for gaming.
xbox battery
It seems, especially for competitive situations where a natural sound profile is even more beneficial but for TV and films it is a good option On paper the battery life of the xbox wireless headset isn’t impressive and especially when compared to the best gaming headsets available right now although it is better than the previous model its battery life is up to 20 hours on a single charge and the battery life is enough to last for more than a day you will need to plug it in more than once than something like the elite but it’s not dangerous in any way and to compensate the headset charges pretty quickly when not in use you can charge it for 30 minutes But it gives almost 4 to 5 hours of battery life.
